Philosophy and CredentialsSkip to Credentials![]() My work as a healing arts practitioner comes out of a genuine desire to support and empower women throughout the phases of their life's journey. After just a year or so of working with pregnant and postpartum women through massage therapy in New Orleans, I furthered my abilities to support women by becoming a Doula (birth assistant for couples). Through my experience as a Doula, I gained a deeper understanding of women's concerns and issues around this time of their lives, as well as a profound respect for Women of all time. Although I do not attend births as a primary Doula anymore, I do offer massage during labor, as well as support and resources to women considering their birth options. In my massage practice I strive to provide excellent quality sessions that meet individuals exactly where they are in that moment. There will always be a dialogue before beginning and specific requests are encouraged. Mutual trust is key in achieving the best possible session. I look forward to meeting you! More about me: In 2002 I began to seek out indigenous teachings on the human experience and our place in the Universe. Drawn to Peruvian cosmology, I began studying with Peruvian visionary Oscar Miro-Quesada in 2004. Through Oscar's teachings of the Pachakuti Mesa, I continue to discover ways of healing my own imbalances, as well as ways of assisting the planet in its current crisis. Through this work I am able to practice Earth-Honoring Sacred Living more and more each day, honoring the sentient world around me. | ![]() | |||||||||
